七年级英语下册Unit 9 Section A预习指导一、知识点1.What does he look like “他长什么样？”英语中询问外貌的结构为：What do/does + 人 + look like 如若要询问人的品格则用：What + be动词 + 人 + like Eg: (1) -- What does your sister look like “你姐姐长什么样？”--She is thin and has long hair.“她很瘦并且长着长头发。”(2) -- What is your sister like “你姐姐是个怎样的人？”-- She is kind and friendly.“她很善良友好。”2.Short hair/long hair/curly hair/straight hair 短发/长发/卷发/直发Long straight hair 长直发注意：在表示人高矮胖瘦等体格类词时用be动词作谓语；其它则用have作谓语Eg: She has long hair.她长着长发。She is of medium height.她中等个。3.多个形容词修饰名词顺序口诀：限定描绘大长高，形状年龄和新老，颜色国籍跟材料，作用类别往后靠Eg: black straight long hair黑直长发4.Short (形容词) “短的/矮的”其反义词为tall (形容词) “高的”或long (形容词) “长的”Eg: The ruler is very short.“这把尺很短。”Lily is very short.“丽丽长得很矮。”5.Of medium height “中等个”Height (名词) “高度” 对应的形容词形式为：high (形容词) “高的”Eg: The girl is of medium height.这个女孩中等个。6.Medium build “中等身材”Build (名词) “身材、体格” (动词) “建造；建筑”其作动词时的对应名词形式为：building (名词) “建筑物”Eg: The man is of medium build.那个那人中等身材。7.选择疑问句表示提供两种或两种以上情况，要求对方在提供 范围内进行选择。其构成为：一般疑问句 + or + 选择的部分。Eg: Do you like apples or bananas “你喜欢苹果还是香蕉？”注意：其回答不可用Yes或No，而需要做出相应的选择。Eg: -- Is she tall or short 她是高还是矮？-- She is tall.她很高。8.Go to the movie “去电影院”Go to + 地点 去某地Eg: Let’s go to the movie tonight.让我们今晚去电影院吧。Go to Beijing 去北京9.Meet (动词) “集合；见面；碰头”其派生词为： meeting (名词) “会议”have a meeting “开会”Eg: We will meet at the airport.“我们将在机场见面。”We will have a meeting today.我们今天有个会议。10.Right 可译为“对的；是吧”也可译为“右面的；在右面”Eg: You are right.“你是正确的。”You can sit on the right.“你可以坐在右边。”注意：当right译为“对吗”时，用来对词前陈述的内容进行确认或核实。完整的句式为：Is that right 口语中常用不完整的句子表达意见或想法。11.May be “也许是”为情态动词may+动词原形be的结构，常常位于句中表示推测而Maybe为副词“大概”常常位于句首。Eg: She may be a student.= Maybe she is a student.“也许她是一名学生。”12.Late (形容词) “迟的” 其反义词为early “早的”常用短语 be late for... “迟到...”Eg: The boy is always late for school.“这个男孩上学总迟到。”13.Little/ a little/ few/ a few 区别Little “几乎没有”表否定意义，常用来修饰不可数名词A little “还有一点”表肯定意义，常用来修饰不可数名词Few “几乎没有”表否定意义，常用来修饰可数名词复数A few “还有一点”表肯定意义，常用来修饰可数名词复数Eg: We have little milk, let’s buy some.We have a little milk, you can drink it.We have a few apples, you can eat it.We have few apples, let’s buy some.14.Wear glasses 戴眼镜Glass 可数名词讲时，译为“玻璃杯”其复数形式为glasses；glass为不可数名词时，译为“玻璃”。Glasses 以复数形式出现时，译为“眼镜”15.Put on, wear, dress区别：Put on强调穿衣服的动作Eg: It’s cold outside, please put on your sweater.“外面天气冷，请穿上你的毛衣。”wear强调穿衣服的状态Eg: The girl wears a sweater today“这个女孩今天穿了一件毛衣。”Dress 后面接人，表示给某人穿衣服Eg: The boy is too young to dress himself.“这个小那还太小了不能自己穿衣服。”16.See you later then. 一会见。其答语常为：See you.二、练习题一、根据句意及首字母或汉语提示完成单词1.My mom is of medium b_______.2.Can I go to the _________ (电影院) tonight, Mum 3.The box is too h_______, I can’t lift (举起) it.4.She has ________ (直的) hair.5.There is a football match on TV t_______.二、用所给词的适当形式填空1.Lily and Lucy are of medium ________ (high).2.Tony’s eyesight (视力) is poor, he must wear ________ (glass).3.The _______ (meet) was put off (推迟) because of the weather.4.What ______ (do) Jane look like 5.The man may _______ (be) Mr.Wang.三、单项选择( )1.His mother _____ thin and she _____ black hair.A.is;
